Nice design but I have few observations. Why have an open kitchen attached to the living room? This is a style you can find in the western world; where the type of dishes(aroma) is different from what we have in Africa( in most cases). Can you have a visitor in the sitting room while you cook eforiro for example in the open kitchen? The visitor and off course, the living room materials like the curtains and the likes have the adsorption of aroma of the food to contend with. This is non-Nigerian. My own opinion is to separate the kitchen from the living room for privacy, and also , what I mentioned above.
