This is supposed to be for kids. BUT all that sudden multi colour flashes & vision sharp fades can trigger seizures for kids. Please honestly review & remove this video otherwise please put up a photosensitive warning. You caused a terrible accident to my family without knowing.

Sadly, the great hammerhead is critically endangered. This means they are highly in danger of disappearing forever.

congratulations on the project, it is very interesting. I have a question, why use pit tags and not other types of external tags such as spaghetti? Is there any relationship with the size of the lemon shark or any objective of the project?
@Sharks4Kids3 ай бұрын
We use them because we are working with neonates and juvenile lemon sharks. The PIT tags are ideal for our project.

Hi. I have some questions for you. Tried to ask the question on FB page but could not. Has always been fascinated by sharks' enormous ability to perceive. Sharks do not collide with solid objects even when it is dark or turbid water. A mountain, a wall under water, can it send out any kind of signal that a shark can perceive and therefore avoid? How can they see in very cloudy water? They can swim over large areas. How can they know where they are? Have a nice day
@Sharks4Kids3 жыл бұрын
They have sensory systems that help them detect magnetic and electrical fields. They also have excellent sense of smell and hearing.

@kevinking36638 жыл бұрын
why do they have spots in t heir belly
@Sharks4Kids6 жыл бұрын
It is believe the spots and markings are to help them camouflage. There is no parental care with sharks, so these babies have to hide out from predators and camouflage helps with that.
