Can someone please explain where this kind of mazurka dancing started? When did the tempo slow down and the whole character of the rhythm and the dance change? I’m interested in the lineage.

Ein sehr schöner Tanz, hoffentlich wird er auch in Deutschland beliebt und oft getanzt. Uwe und Andreas haben Mardi Gras schon gut mit Geige und diatonischem Akkordeon drauf. Das war toll.
