When he was in Hartford, Connecticut touring The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking Roger Waters stopped by the local rock station for an interview. He gave a basic rundown of what to expect from the concert. The first half of the show was going to be Pink Floyd material and the second was Pros and Cons. He touched on Eric Clapton and how stunned he was that every solo Clapton played was different from show to show. I wish I could have been there. I wouldn't get to see Waters live until decades later and was actually very bored by the show. It was very stripped down and had absolutely no theatrics, just Roger and the band on stage. My brothers and I left before the end.

It's been going downhill from his The Wall tour which was absolutely stunning.

Por que no lo vi antes? Me vuelve loco este disco. Y al igual que the final cut, no hay mucho material en vivo

Thanks for posting this. In 1985 there was a radio broadcast of another concert from this tour and I've wanted to hear the _Money_ again ever since. The reason is the broadcast cut mid-solo straight to applause. I just ended. Today I'd say "wait, what?!?" But in the part that was broadcast Clapton clearly stuck to Gilmour's solo, but as a framework. Each one of those four-measure licks on the album grew into, I dunno, twelve-bar expansions or something. Still looking for it. This one's close.

This sucks. Is that Waters singing? I know it's his song, but he cannot sing it. The vocals evaporate before they hit the mic. If that ain't enough, Clapton's style simply isn't suited for the song. His ego is too big to cop Gilmour's licks and he add nothing of his own. No wonder he left the tour. This recording is bonafide evidence of how much Gilmour and Waters complimented each other. Too bad Roger became a Stalin acolyte. Took him years to find his bearings as a solo performer. Those early solo tours barely rose above cocktail lounge gigs.

My bar for Roger Waters' live singing is so low that I am always amazed when a majority of his notes are in tune ...It's like watching a baby trying to walk..you kind of have to root for him!..his voice is very interesting in a good way but also very frustrating because it is so clumsy..

@@rafenord2 At least at the time he was still singing ! Now it's just miming, appalling. I voted with my feet and didn't attend his latest shows.
