.... Aunt Jeanie smoked Pall Malls, the red unfiltered things. I was 11-ish and trying that stuff. We would drive from Alamogordo to Juarez to buy Oso Negro Vodka, it had a little black bear on a key chain. $2 a Gallon, as I recall, in 1960. Dad brought it home in the tens of gallons. And we bought cigarettes. For a Dime you could have a pack of Horse Shit cigarettes. (Pall Malls were 30cents) the cig pack had a horse, his head turned towards you with a teethy smile and horse pie coming out of his butt. Well, we smoked those things and the Pall Malls and I really didn't taste much difference. And I never smoked. Except for......

@@johnchristian1545 next best funny shit was agent 13. He was found in a trash can, airport locker, file cabinet, ice machine, cigarette machine, fireplace, washing machine. Didn't the cowsills do the theme in 1970? That was the Charles Fox Singers who did it from the 2nd season on.
@johnchristian15452 жыл бұрын
The Cowsill's version of 'Love American Style' was never the take used on the television show, though it should have been. I think it was quite good personally. Charlie Fox went on to write the theme song for 'Happy days' and 'Laverne and Shirley'. The song, Love American Style, was written by Charlie Fox and Arnold Margolin.
@alangray91172 жыл бұрын
@@johnchristian1545 it was used in the 69 season. Because of royalties and contract issues they went with the Charles Fox Singers after. I'll post a link about it for you.

@@johnchristian1545 I just had this idea expressed to me before my last recording. That I should box in the amplifiers with the microphone with a cloth. The previous Jam Series we played guitars would drown out the beat I had playing. After creating a cover for the speakers it made the drums become more present. Wish this helps you in your creative endeavors and I am looking forward to your next performance😄🤟
