Today, almost every church plays guitars. Joyful Way was formed to evangelise through CONTEMPORARY gospel music. The last time I checked, contemporary means keeping with the trends and times. The core of worship isn’t just about what is sung, but how it’s delivered. While chasing relevance may seem necessary in today's fast-paced world, it’s easy to forget that true worship, as Jesus said in John 4:24, must be “in spirit and in truth.” If the performance starts to outshine the message,as in my humble opinion is being showcased here, then they risk becoming entertainers rather than ministers. Scripture warns us,for good reason, not to conform to the world (Romans 12:2),Music trends fade, but the Word of God endures forever (Isaiah 40:8). Joyful Way must ask: are they more focused on delivering a polished, trendy "content" or a deeply spiritual experience? If worship starts to feel like a show, then it ceases to be worship and becomes mere performance. Joyful Way must remember that their true audience is God, not the crowd. Staying relevant is fine, but they should never sacrifice the reverence and spiritual depth that makes their music ministry impactful....These are few thoughts to be considered, in my humble opinion....
