Do you hear the impact in the crowd that Chris’s voice induces on these people! Insane!

I think about this concert a lot - we were front and center in the pit. My second time ever seeing them (out of 6 now) - the show was so amazing and Scott was on point…but we stood there for like an hour and a half before they hit the stage after we were bored to death by the opening band - sounded like they played the same song for 30 minutes straight with lights that pointed out and borderline blinded us.

I was there front row, it’s was epic. it was my 2nd time seeing in live. I would go on to see him perform about 47 more times before his death. I alway come back to this show what an amazing person.

This is wonderful, even eight years on! But to be absolutely true-to-life, all the other kids would have to copy her, all chanting THE WORD.

I was there that night. This was my first Journey concert, and I have seen them every year since (if they came that year). Cheap Trick opened for Heart, who opened for Journey. Great night

Gregg can't fire anybody in the ABB & neither could Dickey. ABB operates on votes by the original members & Gregg, Butch & Jaimoe voted to remove Dickey from the 2000 summer tour. Dickey sued the band & they then moved to make it permanent. Gregg did say as the years went by, Dickey just didn't fit in anymore. Dickey was hurt by the band's action personally but not that much financially. On "celebrity net worth dot com" Dickey is worth 40 million dollars & Gregg is 15 mil. Butch Trucks even less
