The Blue Prince reminds me of the board game Betrayal at the House on the Hill. You get to slowly build the layout of the house (board) through each turn. You find weird and creepy items, events, and omens. After each omen, you do a haunt roll to see if the second phase (betrayal) of the game is to start. It's not super puzzle heavy, but it does allow you to lay traps and try to figure out what the other teams' plan is. One team doesn't know what powers the betrayer gets, and the betrayer doesn't know what the other people have to do to stop them. It's a fun game. I have yet to run into someone that doesn't like it after playing

This immediately became one of my most anticipated titles when it was revealed. Ticks so many boxes for me. I'm fiending for a new trailer soon (Game Awards return?) but I'm impressed at how much development footage you've found. It does help tide me over. Can't wait to finally play it!

It's odd, as an old who read _Neuromancer_ when it came out, and much like its cousin, steampunk, I'm surprised cyberpunk ever caught on and ultimately spawned a genre. It always felt like more a slight detour from sci-fi than something unto itself, just boilerplate sci-fi with more neon. At the time, it seemed very much of its time, the black mirror version of the 1980s reflecting back the worst tendencies of an oblivious humanity. As it stands, I think the future is more LED than neon, more compliance than punk.

This game looks pretty cool--you've pretty much sold me on it, should it turn up where I buy! ^_^ (My main worry is the Soulslike aspect of it--especially the whole "lose your resources" thing. But the game looks overall sufficiently fun that I might try it anyway.) And, as a new subscriber, let me say that I've been finding your commentary so far to be consistently interesting and enjoyable, with some neat choices of topic. And, if I may say it, delivered in a voice that is rather pleasant to listen to. ^_^

Definitely want to pick this up at some point, but not during early access

this game is awesome so far lol Greg and Lena are the reason I got into making game music, so I knew I was gonna like this one. But as a big ol' turn-based rpg fan, the amount of innovation and accessible design here still blew me away!! Unfortunately been too busy to keep playing lately, but I'm ~6 hours in and planning where I want to go next in-game when I can hop in again. Glad to see enthusiasm here too cuz it's been eating at my brain for the past few days :) Oh, and my starter was the blue creature. Love them 🤭
