Nice technique. (I've view several of your videos where you're using the serger, but I cannot tell what make a model you are using. Can you please let me know. Thank you.

Hi, at work I use a Juki 4 thread overlocker (serger) Model no, MO-67145 and at my studio I have an older reconditioned Brother model: EF4-B531.

Thank you for sharing this technique with us. Can you tell us, what size width is your bias tape?

I made my own bias tape for this seam. I have another video which shows this process. 'How to make bias binding'. I cut the bias strip 3.5 cm wide and then folded and pressed it. So the finished binding width (when sewn in position) is approximately 6 to 7 milimetres. This works well with a 1cm seam allowance. The binding is made from a lightweight cotton fabric which allows it to be quite narrow. Hope that helps!
