Caught this in cinemas for a re release and knowing the Wagner music couldn’t ignore how better it would have been to just use the original as the music in places (the moody parts, i think the uplifting bits zimmer did well). Even the themes of the Wagner fit really well

There's actually a reason why "Not Guilty" is given as a verdict instead of "Innocent." It's because the court's job is to assess guilt, not innocence. A verdict of "Not Guilty" doesn't necessarily means that a defendant did not commit the crime; simply, it means there has not been enough evidence and testimony, of validating quality, to land a "Guilty" verdict.

@eyeseer1 yeah but its Lois we're talking about! Hal was pretty much screwed no matter what route was taken because she was going to note in essence that yes it saved them from going to prison and woke her out of her catatonic state but she only got woken up because of pure Fury towards him😂 I always found it funny because Lois is a lot similar to my mother and that even if you prove your innocence if it was in the process of doing something else she would dislike congratulations you saved yourself just to now have her mad at you for a legit reason now😅 these types are the types you never win against the only way you win is surviving their Wrath😊

If it hadn't been for Malcolm convincing Hal to take the stand, the family would've been worse off. Lois would've still been broken and sent away to an assisted living facility. Dewey and Jamie would live in New Mexico with Francis and Piama. Malcolm would be emancipated, but would still live with his guilt over breaking up his family and worried about Reese's fate. To him, it's better to deal with an angry Lois than a broken family.

Couples often have joint accounts and individual accounts or a threshold where each can spend without checking with the other. Many of the things he did on his days off weren't that costly. And if he takes out cash once a week for his walking around money the individual expenses don't show up on the monthly bank statements. They wouldn't be individual transactions but one or two with drawls and cash payments.

Yes, it really is just a matter of determining if the prosecutor has made their case and convinced the jury. A not guilty verdict doesn't mean they think you are innocent. Hence they never looked for the real killers when O.J. wasn't convicted in criminal court.

I think it's worst that he wasn't using the Fridays for like his artist passion on secret, but that he was actively spending more money that they DON'T have going on amusement parks and places. think that's why Lois snaped back so quick instead of starting recovering her crisis. Also I think Hals boss didn't fired him after all those years just to make him the scapegoat, so I don't think that's a plot hole.

@@atranimecs Hell no. 8 hrs a day is already pushing it, nevermind 9 hrs (standard in Romania and the UK, though 1 hour is unpaid lunch break). I hardly need tell you what that does to motivation and spirit, particularly in a pointless office job, where you just move crap from one pile to another. After 4-5 hrs, people slowly start to faff around or go on extra coffee/ciggie breaks .... as a desperate attempt to break up the remaining 4-5 hrs into palatable pieces. In one job I had, it became so bad that I'd eat a sandwich or two at my desk (while technically working) and instead use the lunch hour for chugging beer in a discreet sunny spot somewhere. My personal best was 4 beers in 45 mins (I needed time to get to said spot and back to the office). That's when I realised that I needed to get out of that pointless soul-sucking job. 😱😣😓
