TLTR, Hidde says that current organic farming is not a solution for the decline of biodiversity and climate change. In fact it plays into the growing problem of food scarcity, because it requires more land. Instead, he advocates for more intensive agriculture. When our farms are more efficient, it is possible to repurpose large amounts of land into nature. To maximize biodiversity we should not turn it into forests only. We should be aware that humans have played an important role in the history of our ecosystem by cutting down trees (In the Netherlands). Therefore we need a 3 compartment system: Wild nature, intensive agriculture and a form of cultivated nature that provides a habitat for certain endemic birds. --- That said, the video does not go into the preferred method of intensification. Hidde mentions that in parts of Africa, Spain and Latvia the yield is low compared to the returns in The Netherlands, but he does not talk about the impact of pesticides, chemical fertilizers or differences in climate and soil composition of these countries. How to deal with these difficulties would be a useful addition to the video.
