DOLCEOLA RECORDINGS I can’t thank you enough for going out and finding the best musicians when it comes to traditional and American roots music as a fan of this recording label I have purchased two albums one would be field recording at Kickin it on the creek that came out the year of 2019 and the other album I purchased from this fine recording label is from the legendary David kimbrough Jr. say you don’t love me album and the way things looking I can’t wait till this fine folk group release an album so I can add to my collection great vocal skills as well as folk playing musicians⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am working on a little documentary, to appear on KZbin about the history of the Derstine family. In the section about the suffering of the Anabaptistst in Bern, I wanted to include in the background, a bit of a song from the Ausbund. This song is appropriate because it speaks of their suffering. I am just writing for permission to use a bit. I will provide a link in the video notes back to the original if given permission to use it.
Oh I love this, makes me feel very nostalgic and slightly worried. Can't wait to hear the EP!

Growing up I thought this singing only existed in the song house my grandpa built for his church. Learning that many people keep the tradition alive makes me happy and proud.

Is that you standing by the door on the porch in your dad's 1978 video?

Seeing your dad's video on KZbin was a huge inspiration for me when I first became interested in blues music. Still one of my favorites to go back and watch/listen to

Not me sitting on my couch, belting out the alto. 🥹 Wish I had a Sacred Harp group near me. Such beautiful music and so much fun to sing.
