The 2021 album is boring and generic. Most recent "progressive metal" albums are. They're the opposite of progressive, in fact, progressive metal has become the least progressive genre, boring, bland, predictable, unremarkable, they all sound the same. There's no comparison to real progressive music such as Rush, Dream Theater or even more recent bands such as Tool. The post-2000 progressive metal bands are lame, except for some that tend more to death metal than progressive, but pure progressive has become a lame genre.

Fucking awesome band I just discovered! However, I have to admit that the singer really doesnt sound as if he is putting 110% of himself into it. It sounds almost as if he was sitting slouched down in some chair singing being ”half-serious”, all my friends ive shown this band to also agree on this. Dont get me wrong I fucking LOVE the band, but you got to be able to give constructive criticism to that which you love, right?
