Is there an advantage to duplicating the bricks vs using an array?
@kyuandzo15 күн бұрын
Yeap. There are couple of more techniques. Im gonna show one of them on next episode which is placing your bricks linear and after that we gonna bend them with simple deform. So its useful technique for modelling ornamental flower pots etc. I just wanted to show couple of different ways in one series. ^^ Thank you for your message. Also Hard Ops (paid add-on) has amazing radial array feature too if you have this add-on.

HI! I'm following your tutorial and it teached me A LOT! Unfortunately I'm stuck at this episode to be precise when exporting fbx. file to substance just how I did it with other mesh packs (pipes etc.) substance throws out "Failed to load 3D scene. No meshes in the scene" - I did everything like with previous meshes and this problem randomly occurs, could you help me how to fix it? I searches the internet and no luck :c
@kyuandzo5 ай бұрын
Thank you so much. ^^ its great to hear that. Did you check "Selection Only" box when you export because if you don't do that its gonna be like whole scene exported. If this doesn't work you can send screenshot to my discord channel and we can find another solution.

@@kyuandzo thank you sooo much for answer I discovered that one bool tool modifier was not applied and also my model kinda broke in substance due to too many n-gons - I am currently remeshing the bulding model and will see 😅 Thank you sooo much for answer and support though!❤️

What is going on around 23:00 ? I know you have an eye for stuff like that cause you're pro but dude you can't eyeball things like that. It was weird to eyeball those rods at 15:00 but the second time is just painful to watch Just use an empty at the center as reference point for your array. It doesn't take that long Also "I don't care about symmetry" excuse sounds like a skill issue
@kyuandzo6 ай бұрын
Actually i can because its a personal project. I showed proper way of using radial arrays and symmetry on previous tutorials already. So sometimes i don't care about symmetry yea. :) its all about my mood.
