I feel that you missed many important vibrant neighbourhoods, including Mile-end, Rosemont, Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Verdun. Those neighbourhoods, now that the plateau has been so gentrified are all emerging. Some faster the others (Mile-end, often refer to as the hippest place in North-America with Brooklyn) but the three others are often refer to as the new "plateau" because of the plateau is so gentrified now. Outremont has quite a lot to offer too.

It’s a safe haven for single mothers who use the child tax benefits to exploit the system. Taxes are the Country’s highest… Probably the worst place in Canada to raise a family.

Montreal is not the place for immigrants who has self-respect. If self-respect and high self esteem for an immigrant is not important then Montreal is an amazing place

Hi...Loved this. I might be moving to montreal for my PhD. Can you make a video about which locality mught have cheaper places for rent I know there is a housing crisis but still certain places tend to be cheaper. Looking forward to more videos

I understand that the lack of parking could be a problem. Here in Brazil, what bothers me the most is the high rates of violence on the streets. Thanks for making this video; I think I will stick to my plans to move to Quebec.
