Can those pure bred dogs survive in that hot, tropical weather? I swear, those people are just showing off that they have expensive and high maintenance dogs to prove they can afford them. I know that the Philippines is becoming affluent, but owning high maintenance animals is a head scratcher.

The Philippines can be hot reaching about 38-40 degrees Celsius during the day but only in the Summer season. Most of the year the average temp PH is around 30-34 degrees Celsius during the day and can go as low as about 26-28 in monsoon season. I believe most dog breeds can survive temperatures not exceeding 35 degrees as long as they live in air-conditioned homes or just generally well-ventilated.
