When I disconnect from all media and step outside to do work or go for a walk, all the noise I consumed fades away. After absorbing all that information, it's up to me to decide what I allow into my heart and mind. Whatever I focus on, and when it consumes me, I become jaded. Without aligning my thoughts, ideas, and beliefs with God, I find myself in trouble. I've struggled with doubts about Jesus' reality after encountering certain scriptures that seem to deny Him. I'm in a difficult place, but I won't share those scriptures because I want to avoid causing my brother to stumble. It is my salvation I have to work out. Nobody else's. I've lost many many so-called Christian friends because of this struggle. I have said to some of them, I'll see you on judgment day. They did not get it. When Trump returns and brings peace by draining the swamp, that's when we should be concerned about world peace. Balancing what we consume and focusing on what truly matters to us is crucial. I am not saying I am a non-believer. In the times we are in now, our minds have become desensitized because of media. Media can be the tool of the wicked one. I know you have not become desensitized... But we must remember about what Jesus said... "be not of this world" But the noahide law number 7 said " Establish Courts/Legal System to Ensure Law Obedience" I think and believe Christians should be the one to put their foot on the devils head and make new laws. lmao I hope Im making sense mate. Have a good day. Aubrey

First we camped there for a year to observe the weather patterns as we planned out structures according to the wind patterns. The 1st structure we built was the Root Cellar so we could immediately start building up a large food supply. The biggest issue is to have the materials on hand that we need for repairs because the hardware store is 80 miles away. Yes, more people are moving out there. We were the only ones for miles and now we have a couple neighbors who are within walking distance. All the neighbors and local Ranchers are amazing peoples and a great blessing. No, the local government has not bothered us at all. Thank you for your questions and we pray that you will fulfill your dream as well. 🙂

Mark is back in town . He answered you. Our take on your questions are very different! You have great questions! This I would love to discuss in a video. Because I have totally diffent answers. Stay tuned these are my favorite! Example... 1st thing we did ... was plant trees! I needed/wanted shade. Trees. We dug up unwanted sprouts from our yard back home in the city. Free trees! That's what we did first thing when we got here. 12 trees are growing. 4 fruit trees we bought . $75 each. That came in year 3. Again his answeres are not mine. But I think he would have to agree with trees!

Thank you for sharing your background stories with us. I appreciate your advising the equally yoked biblical principal. My heart has felt the calling for homesteading for nearly 3 decades. My husband not so much.lol. I do have a couple of questions, if y'all don't mind addressing. When you chose to use the shipping container as a cabin (I'm in S.W. Utah)did Utah require special permits? Was the process for permits difficult? Again Thank you for bringing us in on your journey and into your home. God Bless you and your Family.
@deserthomesteadprepping8950Ай бұрын
Thank you! It depends on the laws for your county and city. Sense we are not within city limits there are no building requirements for our county but if we were within a city of our county we would have had restrictions. Most counties in Utah consider a Shipping Container as a movable structure and have no restrictions. We made a video named "pros & cons of building with a Shipping Container" that might be helpful.

I like what you are doing with the rain catchment off the solar array and enclosing the underside. About your electrical system, your conduit is too small to pull that wire through and to dissipate heat properly. a 2-2 1/2" conduit would have been much easier to pull that wire. Pull string is the way to make that job easier.
