DDR6 is the smart build. I wouldn't build or buy a PC, if you plan on playing next gen games that don't come with a z690-z790 motherboard and a DDR5-DDR6 dual channel with minimum of 64GB, minimum 240mm liquid cooler, 13th gen i7K, 3080ti 12GB, and 1000Watt PSU. 12th gen i7 is just fine and 32GB Ram if you are a casual player, but in order to stay up to date with next gen games that are coming out, you'll need to have atleast a basic z690 motherboard, 240 liquid cooler, 3080ti 12GB, 32GB DDR5 ram, x2 m.2 NVME 2TB SSD, and an external nvme m.2 4+tb drive to hold any external data, because it's much faster than your traditional HDD/HHD/SSD internal drives. you'll find affordable external storage cases that you can insert an old M.2 nvme card that you might've replaced for more memory, and use it as an external storage unit. with that external ssd casing being used as an external drive, you'll be able to download and upload data faster than any large internal and external stock HDD/SSD/HHD installed, it will even be faster than all external drives you use to hold extra data that's connected as USB/C. until we're able to install any PCIE NMVE M.2 SSDs above 2TB per slot, that would be the best way to harness the download and upload speeds for any pc. however if you dont care about speed, then don't worry about the m.2 external USB-C usable casing. Anyway what i've said at the beginning, is to let those know who plan on investing on a PC, that will make it easier to upgrade parts without buying a new PC or tower.
