I thought about staying there, but when I saw videos, I couldn't tell whether it was Malaga or Thailand? Then luckily, as you alluded to earlier, it's all about ko lanta booked a romantic suite at four star resort on the beach for two nights £100 (in march) That's more my kind of island Robinson Crusoe business 🇬🇧

of all the places we travelled in Asia and many times in Thailand. Koh Samui has to rank number one for us as it was so relaxing. Not over crowded and we stay right on the beach front resorts...15 steps to the beach.

Thanks for filming this and I’m so glad you enjoyed the iconic Stanage Edge. I’m not sure if you’re aware but Stanage Edge marks the boundary between Sheffield and Derbyshire, so if you’re walking the paths on the edge or the moorland behind it you’re in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, if you drop down to the path below the edge you’re in Derbyshire. I’m not sure what that pond was but behind those trees near the pond are Redmires reservoirs which provide water to the city. I hope you revisit sometime in the future.👍🏻
@laughinglondoner4 ай бұрын
@@improvesheffield4824 oh wow I didn’t know that at all! I actually walked too far and that’s how I got to the pond, I was supposed to go find some old millstones on the way back and missed the turning 😃 As I was walking back I saw the turn I was supposed to take but it all added to the adventure of this beautiful place !

I think the wooden box structure is called a Butt used for grouse shooting, the hut by the reservoir looks like the hunting lodge
@laughinglondoner4 ай бұрын
@@DianneFogg Oh really, I didn't know there was hunting there! The building had a sign saying Stanage Lodge and it looked like a guest house they were in the process of building. I actually stayed 18km away in a place called Srima, at Hotel Duje, a wonderful little spot. The Garden in Tisno where the festival is held has its own little beach with a beach stage! Defected is definitely one of the best for music. I am hoping to be there for 2025!

@@laughinglondoner Thank you for your answer. Yes, the place looks really good. We were at Jezera Camping Village. 4 kilometers from Tisno. There were modern mobile homes there. The beach was big and clean. At 18 kilometers (36) the taxi was quite expensive.
