The infamous Accurascale motor issue! As this video was a while ago you've probably sorted it, but if not Accurascale will mend them or send you a new motor to fit. Regards Julian

I’m not familiar with your controller but I’m guessing V126 means 126 speed steps and it’s crawling? Have you tried reading the values of sv, acc, dec and top speed ?

Knocks the Bachmann 37 right out of the park in every way, just got 37419 which is a first of many and it just brings a massive smile to my face with the detail & sound.

@TonyJWalker Thanks for the reply Tony-I've never been a one for modern era stock(I'm mainly 1970s & steam),but this falls into the "why not?" section for me.I'm probably going to pick up either 70003 or 70006 & my son seems to be very impressed by it.No harm in having a few things for his era. Overall,it's had rave reviews,seems to be an incredible reproduction & from what I gather,is a superb hauler too.Definately got to get one-sod the looks!

@Phippstickman I haven't used set track for the layout, Ive used Peco flexitrack, so I'm not sure of the radius. I guess the inner track is about 2nd radius and the Bachmann cl70 runs OK on that, so it should be good on 2nd radius curves. I believe most modern locos are OK on 2nd radius curves, but might not suit 1st radius. Tony.

Can I ask what radius of curve is your 70 running over in this film? I was told this doesn't like anything less than 3rd radius(Hornby R609s) & has bother with R607/R605s.I'm keen on getting 70006 for my son,but we have R607(2nd rad) & R609(3rd rad) curves on my layout.I'm also interested in having something quite powerful with a large haulage capacity.....

@wallaces44 On the inner loop as many as you like, but the outer loop has a passing loop in it, so this will accommodate 8 coaches and one loco, and the same length in wagons and a loco. Hope that helps. Tony.

loving the class 70.i wos just about to buy it direct from freightliner but my wife wont let me as ive just got a class 20 with sound for xmas.

@TheVegDiary The coupler is a combination of the two. The slot for the coupling is fixed to the bogie and therefore moves as the bogie turns, as the 66. But, like the 60, it has two styles of defector, one solid as fitted to the actual loco for use with a replica of the standard hook coupling and the other with a slot in, which the tension lock coupling fits.

@87006 Yes it does. There are head lights as shown, tail lights which you can switch off, with the switch under the loco. Cab lights which can also be switched off. There's also another switch which turns the head light on and off, not sure what it does, and if both front marker lights then come on. Not sure of the LED set up yet, but the marker lights are either bi-polar red/white or could be two separate LED's. As this is a limited edition, I didn't want to mess too much.

@valiant015 Not sure if you got the message I did earlier but I used a DCC Supplies 40 x 20 bass enhanced speaker in the recess in the chassis, just cut off the lugs. Tony.
