Free translation of the lyric of “Umi Yukaba” If I'm on the ocean to fight, I might become a corpse soaked in water. If I go to mountain to fight, I might become a corpse overgrown with grass. But still, I will die by His Majesty's side. I will never regret. 海に行って戦えば、水に浸かった死体になってしまうかもしれない。山に行って戦えば、草の生い茂った死体になるかもしれない。 それでも、私は陛下のお傍で死にます。 私は決して後悔しません。

they still lost, the US would sunk them somewhere else, if not, most likely they'll be used as transport ship to bring the Japanese soldiers back before either scrapped or used in atomic bomb tests

The war would have been prolonged by a couple of months I'd say. We can never know what would have happened obviously, but I think that it wouldn't have mattered that much. American Industry was so massive that even if all of the American Carriers had been lost they could just be replaced. The Kido Butai on the other hand not only would take much longer to be replaced, but also had a "glass jaw". Japanese carriers were incredibly vulnerable due to poor damage-control, anti-air, and survivability. They would have been lost in a subsequent battle if not at Midway. Even if the Japanese had managed to conquer all of the pacific (I feel like taking Hawaii would have basically been impossible for them), they likely would have lost eventually. I am a bit sad about it though, because I think those first carrier-on-carrier battles are some of the most interesting in the history of naval warfare, so it would have been interesting to see more of them before Japan eventually lost its carrier fleet (and experienced naval airmen). If you haven't heard of the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands or Battle of the Eastern Solomons, those are some interesting 1942 carrier battles worth learning about, which aren't nearly as well known as Coral Sea/Midway.

Would have gotten swamped by the 150+carriers (including 10+ Essexes) of all types the US produced. Japan only built about 25 carriers. Even if the IJN won at Midway, just look at the unsustainable losses to the Japanese naval air wings. They could not even attrite the US Navy on their own terms as a prelude to their Kantai Kessen (Decisive Battle) doctrine. The US would probably avoid any large scale battle in 1942 and seek decisive battle maybe in late 1943 or early 1944, with superiority in all aspects (radar, naval aircraft, fleet AA defense).
