Thank God that we have a scientist who believes in a Creator that is God , because the word creator can mean a number of things, in the aboriginal culture that is in Canada, creator means, creator of nature. I want to shorten the word aborginal to indians of sask, not to be offensive . What is the difference between a church ministry and a cult? I was told by a U-Turn pastor that because my significant other and I were not married I couldnt have any contact with them. 8 months of no phone calls, no visits. No contact with opposite sex.except the ones in the program. Fair? I think not. Pastor John Jimenez straight lied about the rules till he got my man into his ministry.

Regarding the lack of physical withdrawal symptoms with marijuana (discussed about a half hour into this video), I heard that this is due to the fact that THC remains in the system for a few months after a smoker has stopped using. The body doesn't need to go into withdrawal because the drug is still there.

as a recovering alcoholic and drug addict acupuncture would not help for addiction. Acupuncture taps into the brains old placebo effect. Works for those who truly believe it will help them. When I'm withdrawing from substances I'm willing to bet acupuncture would not help, in fact it would hurt. The intense anxiety I get when withdrawing would probably make me think that I'm being probed by aliens when getting acupuncture.

It's so fantastic to know that we can expand our sharing in non-traditional venues. The both of you have offered me many sane moments, especially as a new parent coming back into the rooms so many years ago. Thank you for your willingness to be faces & voices of recovery, & put yourselves out there that other families and their loved ones can join us in the 12 Step Recovery communities.
