Hi, this mandala is very pretty, i like it!! What size is this mandala when its finished? I want use the mandala as a 'wheelcover' for my new power wheelchair😍
@theloopystitch5 күн бұрын
Hello, it all depends on the yarn, hook and tension. If you're wanting to make it big, go a thick yarn and big hook. 😀

Your mandala is exquisite! I made mine in Christmas colors and gold center. #4 yarn with 5 mm hook. I also added final edge round of BLO slip stitch with a ch 3 picot in each ch 1 peak. It measures about 11 inches in diameter. Thank you for your excellent instructions. I love the texture of the stitches.

Cómo se puede hacer en un granny?
@theloopystitch3 ай бұрын
Unfortunately this one cannot be turned into a granny square. It is on my list to design one though 🙏
I don't think this works with any yarn other than the one you used. It just looks odd whenever I make it. Stretched and not relaxed as the one in the video. Is there a reason other than the yarn you're using?
@theloopystitch4 ай бұрын
Hello, just searched the hashtag in IG and can see a few made in different yarns and they look great to me. Without seeing your square, have you tried blocking? It could also be your tension with the yarn maybe? Hard to say without seeing a photo. You can email me if you like or send a message via Instagram.

Every time I'm starting out, my magic circle gets stuck too large after the 7 doubles and won't close and it's so frustrating
@theloopystitch4 ай бұрын
That's not good to read. Have you tried pulling the MR a closed a little after making it, and then work stitches into it?
@PoisonusCupcake964 ай бұрын
Yes i try to make it as small as possible to start out. The tail is supposed to be able to pull it tight but it wont and i cannot figure out what im doing wrong. I even went back and looked up how to do a magic circle to be sure i was doing it correctly and i believe i am. It just wont close up @theloopystitch
@PoisonusCupcake964 ай бұрын
@@theloopystitchI figured it out. After 10+ tries lol so when I first begin the magic circle, making the little X on my fingers, I had my tail where my working yard should be on the X. If that makes sense for anyone else I hope!
