Abrahamic religion isn't mono theistic. It's dualistic. The polythistic pantheon eventually evolved into 'god' and angels. And as a counterpart of the almighty 'god creator' that resides in the spiritual realm of 'heavens', mountain or vulcano tops and thunderstorms, stands a mighty force named Satan, the snake in paradise, a 'fallen angel', 'dropout' of heaven as result of a rebellion, supported by his demons, and a power to be reckoned with in the material world. But even at the introduction of 'a god' in the story of creation, it's told that 'god' created mankind to 'our likenes', plural, a male and female. So it seems his wife has left him. A tribal farmers 'god', even a nomadic one, would need a female counterpart, like Zeus his daughter Persephone, as force controlling the fertility. A sun 'god' had a moon 'godess', like in Egypt, Sumer or Babylon. So somehow this 'godess' dissapeared. And for some mysterious reason. Then the Canaanite origion: the 'god creator' in the bible doesn't resemble 'El'. He is an old friendly god. The biblical creator is a demanding 'god', and a revengeful one. As upper narcissist he wants to be worshipped by offerings, he claims all first born males, even from life stock, and wants all human ones to be genitally circumcised. Last but not least he commits his holy genocide at Noah's time by drowning most of his creation. He is just as cruel as his neighbour Baal, who demands offerings of children, according to the bible. I won't go into the specifics of the Gnostic creation story. Some parts can be found in the bible, though. It's tempting to see Aknaton as a source, and influences of Egyptian ideas can't be denied in the region of Palestine. Also the Persian Zoroaster comes to mind. But to me the most probable source seem Greek Neo Platonists and their ideas. But even then the later 'god' attributed to Jesus isn't a mono theistic one: besides a total make over in personality into a loving, caring and forgiving god, he's like the later Musqueteers: 'One for all, and all for one'! 'Cause one can be a trinity as well. But religion will never lack an explanation: he's acting in mysterious ways... like when 6 million of his chosen people were murdered during the Holocaust... Man created 'god almighty', by magic of imagination. Feel free in your eternal afterlife. 😮 😊

An inscription by Akhenaten credits the Aten for promoting him. I wonder if there was a terrible crisis, perhaps within the family, and if Akhenaten prayed to and believed he was delivered by Aten. His older brother died. Were both princes horribly sick but the older died and Akhenaten was then promoted? It seems the gods of both Akhenaten and Moses were spiritual -- at a personal level internalized -- rather than physical. They both had personal experiences with their sole gods. It is said there were statues of other gods in the temples, that these statues were awakened, dressed, fed, entertained, etc., during rituals performed in the temples. Apparently, not enough of Akhenaten's followers and subjects were able or willing to accept a god who was a spirit who came from, or dwelt at least partly, inside the body of their Pharaoh Akhenaten.

If a pastor of a church is determined to use exposure therapy techniques on a member of his church by creating a false situation for the individual knowing it will end in a sad result before hand, and offers no support or encouragement during the exposure therapy time frame, does that classify as deception?

Akhenaten practised monotheism in the form of the sun- as a source of life. The question is:- did this lead to a worship of Yahweh? If events between Egypt, Babylon and Israel could be collated, from extensive conflation of people, events, and times- then could be construed as a distinct possibility.

MANIFESTING in the sun disc and using the sun image maybe was the closest way he could describe enlightenment. I really like your discovered theory , for spiritual people that can actually happen. For him Aten symbolizes an enlightened spirit (like Buddhism nature) and physically it gives life to the planet... it reminds me of eastern enlihjtghment philosophy.

This lecture is amazing! It all makes so much sense, and the connections with Bible stories... with the Bible writers they were retelling a story, their abridged version of the history of the whole region by even taking in sumerian history too. Akenaten could have. Been Moses, but definitely connected some how. His brother was Thutmoses..... and the making of the inscribed bricks remind me of the scenes in the Moses film making bricks(10 CMMNDMNTS) ...

War is awful BUT the evil actions Ukraine has been taking against the Russian people since 2014 in the three eastern provinces demands justice and protection. Someone had to put an end to it. And during all that evil time the US is profiteering with Ukraine. Look at the evidence of the Biden family making money during his VP. What a disgrace of sin on the US. Please do your homework and learn what the history of Ukraine entails. You will then understand just who is on the wrong side of history.

Monotheism isn't exclusive to Egypt and middle eastern religions . For example if you look into religion of Hinduism from india, sects are divided into 3 sects , one sect holds a certain deity to ultimate supreme of universe , they refuse to hold other other .

Well, I put alot of weight on what Jesus said to Thomas, "Now that you see you believe. Blessed are those who believe without seeing." Those who 'believe without seeing' are of course the 5 wise with oil - who will be Raptured. Jesus promised that 'all who believe will live' . . . over & over again . . . OT & NT scriptures all leading to Revelation . . . the 144,000 will be evangelizing, the 2 witnesses, 3 angels fly through the heavens proclaiming the truth of the gospel over all the earth until all have heard - Tribulation Saints suddenly appear in heaven before the throne, a number so great that it cannot be counted & John does not recognize who they are . . . these are those "who believe now that they have seen", Prodicals who got indoctrinated away from what they were raised to believe, those who believe but were foolish, let themselves run out of oil, hesitated . . . God gives every possible opportunity to come to belief in Him & will by no means turn anyone away who comes to Him - anyone who does not take the mark of the beast, anyone who rejects the beast & false prophet & will not worship them, can come to believe & be saved! THIS is to put your trust in the LORD who made HIS plans & knows the heart of all.

I know the chronology does not seem to tine up, but just looking at the biblical narrative, if Ahkenaten had been the Pharaoh who Joseph had influenced, both the biblical narrative and the Egyptian narrative would have dovetailed nicely. The Israelite moving into Egypt, welcomed by Joseph and Akhenaten, then later despised by Ahkenaten's successor, probably taking the heat for Akhenaten's apostasy, according to the restored priesthood, then generations later escaping to Israel during a natural catastrophe. The two narratives would line up if we accepted that one or both of the timelines were inaccurate. Without that congruence the two narratives are so out of sync that they really don't make a lot of sense. According to the scriptures things were going great until a new Pharaoh took office, then they went from high favour to slavery, as if they were being held accountable for the past Pharaohs misdeeds. Perhaps they were. If Abraham was the first monotheist perhaps Joseph was who taught it to Ankenaten.

With the contradictions in time historically the idea Iochim (Hellene) or Ra Moshe (Kemetic) in the same part of the planet within fifty years of Henotheism presentation is absurd, calendars have been edited at least three times.

The name was changed to Zippori yet it was the home and birth place of Ioanchim and Anna parents of Maria and grand parents of Isho the healer. In Hellene Khristos is a translation of the belief an Inorex will bring about a Khristos. Henotheism is a translation of Sumerian. Vedic texts.

It is true that there’s only one single reality, and thus one set of Universal principles of truth and morality (epistemology and ethics respectively) that Aristotle was on the right track towards discovering. Dual reality monotheism however, formalized by Plato, has gravely hampered the progress towards this discovery.

I love Desi Alexander! 😊A phenomenal biblical scholar. Among other things, he's quite creative within the bounds of orthodoxy in his Genesis interpretations. For example, his position that when God clothed Adam and Eve after they had sinned, it was not to symbolize a cover for their sins with the Messiah's coming atonement, but it was to signify that Adam and Eve had become like the beasts. Also, arguing Canaan is the one whom Noah cursed, not Ham. He is a teacher who is "like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom treasures new and old" (Mt 13:52). I've already purchased his The Message of the Kingdom of God (published this year) and I'm working through it. I can't wait for his commentary on Genesis!

4:20 but if thats so then monotheism doesnt exist. Yahwe never denied the existence of any of the gods, in fact he acknowledges them. Yahwe is seth a god who hates to see other gods being worshipped. Envy is his primary quality- look it up, sounds familiar? I am talking abt seth. So he knows they exist or existED as he- using the story of christ- actually succeeded in annihilating the pantheons of the pagan world. But the gods arent fully dead, just extremely weakened

@TupacMakaveli1996 Akhenaten, like Moses (same person) led his followers of the Aten (Mono) religion away from Thebes in Egypt and then years after his son took his place and died he came back to lead the rest of his people which were called Israelites to the land of Canaan. Don't follow bible timeliness or names. Some stories are even mixed with others to fully flesh it out.
