UPDATE: We actually have this in our library and playing it for the next concert. Thanks again! From the principal percussionist of the Houma- Terrebonne Community Band, this is excellent! Definitely posting this in the group chat to see if they want to play it.

There is definitely an Iowa connection with the Bierschenk family, which today lives mostly in Texas. If you want to send me a list of grandparent and great-grandparent Bierschenk names as far back as you have records, I'll probably be able to see what the connection is.

@@kennybierschenk5870 The furtheat Bierschenk I know was Jacob Bierschenk and he is the one who came over from Germany in the late 1880s. That's the oldest grandparent I know. He's many generations away from me. Haha

Apparently your Bierschenks got here about 5 or 10 years before mine did -- any idea what town in Germany yours originated from? If they're from Westhausen, Bodenrode, Heiligenstadt or Wichmannshausen, there's probably a connection
