Hagia Sophia should be returned to its original purpose - an Orthodox Church. If this was to happen, the world-wide donations and bequests of wills would restore the beauty and Holiness of this scared building for the entire world. Instead, the Turkish government uses the building as a cash machine in tourist fees, neglecting the badly needed repairs on the structure. All the while Erdoğa uses it as a political tool to placate his religious interests in reverting it to a mosque. I visited Hagia Sophia in 1999 and was heart-broken on the lack of repairs and neglect of this beautiful structure. I was sickened when the reverted back to a mosque - going against the very wishes of Ataturk himself. If Turkey wanted to be truly respected in the world, they would allow this Holy structure to revert back to an Orthodox Church. it would greatly - and forever, ease tensions between Greece and Turkey. For its restoration, I would be the first to bequeath funds from my will for its resurrection. Thank you very much for this video.

She was technically the second Woman Pharaoh. The first was Sekmet. Also, Hatchepsut trained her step son to be a great warrior. Knowing that he would too have his turn on the throne. Her husband was a weak ruler. Not to mention she actually had royal blood. Being daughter of Pharaoh Thutmose I and his Royal Wife, not concubine as her husband. She made sure that his son wouldn't follow in his foit steps. She prepared him to rule in the best way possible. He still tried to erase her name.

9:23 What a wonderful exchange of gifts, Louis IX got his obelisk and Muhammad Ali got a non working clock We Dutch would call that "a cat in a sack" "een kat in een zak" gift 'buying or exchanging something that is very disappointing or breaks very quickly', 'making a bad purchase'. Anyone who has bought a cat in a sack is often angry with themselves: I wish I had paid more attention before buying!🤣 Well the French are not the Swiss LOLOLOLOL. Muhammad Ali should have gifted the obelisk to ehm 1830 Swiss president Emanuel Friedrich von Fischer. Then he would have got a clock that worked and would still work. would it it not be wonderful that Zurich had the Obelisk and Egypt got an astrological wonder clock. But nope Louis IX send some fibly thing that did not do a thing. I think those obelisk look way better with mountains in the back ground I just found your channel love your guide and wit. subscribed!

Women in Ancient Egypt could for instance own property, conduct business and divorce their husbands. Very advanced culture based on Maat. Very rare in world history.
