On imagine le Roy soleil ,alors paré comme un dieu ,dansé merveilleusement, car il était aussi musicien ,devant un parterre qui ne voyait qu'Apollon et à travers lui et la sublime musique de jean-baptiste Lully, ce splendide Patrimoine qu'on cherche tant A DETRUIRE !!!!!!! mais le "facteur TEMPS " l'ndomptable est là !!!!

This is wonderful! Baroque and other period dances are such fun. I love the costumes and the castanets.

I must say, this is impressive! I love the instrumentalists sitting in the same formation as one sees in the paintings of the period. To have a baroque theater to perform in is wonderful. The vocalists are excellent as well. The conductor it seems is the cellist at the far left so he is far less visible than modern conductors in the center on a podium. I'm just wondering: is there a keyboard as they would have had during that period? I can't seem to see or hear one.

Thanks for the upload. Great example of baroque opera on the original proscenium stage, as it was originally performed. The water flow in the fountain was probably driven by ropes and pulleys.

Раньше была мода на стиль в интерьере и мебели Людовика 14, а теперь пошла мода на танцы балет Людовика короля Солнца. Достойно восхищения что даже спустя 400 лет об этом Великом монархе и его делах всё ещё помнят.

This is wonderful. In other clips I've seen of galliards, I think the dancers are too stiff and formal. This seems more natural and authentic. Great job.

Sehr schön getanzt 🌹 Barocker Tanz ist schwierig zu tanzen, hat man ihn nicht im Blut. Können nur Menschen tanzen die die Musik in sich Aufnehmen können...Das alte Spanien hatte Wunderbare Musik und Tänze 😍
