This is fabulous! Thank you for posting. Question: is it possible that the part sung by the tenor in this excerpt would originally have been sung by a soprano?

This is wonderful! Baroque and other period dances are such fun. I love the costumes and the castanets.

I must say, this is impressive! I love the instrumentalists sitting in the same formation as one sees in the paintings of the period. To have a baroque theater to perform in is wonderful. The vocalists are excellent as well. The conductor it seems is the cellist at the far left so he is far less visible than modern conductors in the center on a podium. I'm just wondering: is there a keyboard as they would have had during that period? I can't seem to see or hear one.

Lovely! This is how baroque dance should be performed ❤️

Thanks for the upload. Great example of baroque opera on the original proscenium stage, as it was originally performed. The water flow in the fountain was probably driven by ropes and pulleys.

We are a classical music school, looking for the finale of this performance , where a theme of the Eroika symphony appears. Could you please possibly post it ?

This is wonderful. In other clips I've seen of galliards, I think the dancers are too stiff and formal. This seems more natural and authentic. Great job.
