Yes you need ventilation and Maybe you dont have experience with deep or ultra deep colors. Never try and do it all in one coat. Tricorn black has 12 ounces of black pigment. That thickens and slows the drying time. Fortunately its sands great and reapplies well once dry.

You absolutely need ventilation and low humidity for it to dry fast. I live in Florida and am very experienced with this product I know how it works. These other dudes saying ventilation has nothing to do with it haven’t been in this game long enough.

Yea it’s really drippy stuff can’t spray using an airless on verticals gotta use an hvlp gun or use crosslinker to speed it up. I find it actually levels out better on vertical surfaces with an hvlp than laying down flat seems to get more orange peel that wat

Craftsman’s user manuals have something to be desired. They are very hard to follow. Great products, though

You put it on too heavy man... own it and fix it. Trying to say " oh the ventilation yada yada yada" excuses... I usually use a dry 4inch roller to dab and take away the "heads" the runs/slides... If the door has a grain to it meaning it's not completely completely flush flat like shaker cabinets the. I'll use a brush...

What? You had runs and slides all over those doors bro, you put it on wayyy to heavy. You know that, I know that. Gallery drys super fast so I definitely definitely know you were trying to cover the black in one. Hopefully you sanded it out, it should sound out nice. Seeing the ceiling bagged off like that is crazy too, your not painting the ceiling and walls? BTW I'm not harping on you or trying to talk smack, the problem in the video is fixable thank God. I'm sure thr primer was white and you were trying to get the black to cover. Plus you can open up a window or 2 to get some airflow

@@nothingsimpostleble1593that's all I will say my man that there was no ventilation that you need to have ventilation. Because in my situation I didn't and I didn't know so I'm trying to warn people to have proper ventilation. Gallery Series is my favorite paint. But I'm trying to help people learn from my mistake. It had been like 3 to 4 hours and it had not dried.

Does not have anything to do with ventilation. That is just too heavy of a coat. With these hybrid paints you have to keep the gun moving and the pressure down. Especially if you’re using an Airless Sprayer.
