This is a long reach, but do you know where I can find footage of the Songs of Praise at St George’s Church in Sprowston, Norfolk. I believe the recording to be around late eighties early 90s ish.

The coffee rings a bell. IIRC you had to collect labels from coffee jars and send them off; but the amount required was enough to build a pyramid of coffee jars. There was a moment when one of the team put the last jar onto said pyrmaid, and of course they all collapsed, no doubt staged! Hilarious stuff though. (In case you're wondering, yes, I did spend the 90s glued to the telly!) Thanks for the upload.

I remember three other episodes of this. Should a hen-pecked man move his mother into a nursing home to save his marriage? (The audience voted 'yes' and he ended up spending so much time visiting his mum his wife left him anyway) Should a man take a dead man's gambling wins? (The audience voted 'yes' but ultimately his conscience got the better of him and he confessed to wife and the police). Should a woman report her boss for harassment after he tried to cop a feel in a lift? (I can't remember the outcome, but I assume even in the '90s the audience went with 'yes').

Many of those adverts were very popular 3:52 to 4:22 the Bisto Gravy advert was a popular family series of them during the early 1990's this Bisto gravy is on the TV Whirl website of course.

@@tackin Hello, thanks for dropping by. That’s a good question. From memory, I don’t think the manuals talk about fps. These is nothing mentioned in the index. www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/3285/32853671M.pdf There is some info regarding movie settings on page 80. From doing a tiny bit of research, generally, standard definition video is around 30fps, so that’s what you can expect to get from this camera. Hope that helps.

I can't edit this video any differently because it wouldn't be my vision. How would you have approached the edit? I'm glad you appreciate the footage though. On a side note, if you can point me toward some of the other badly edited videos on the internet, which you cite, I would appreciate the opportunity to understand your perspective. Happy holidays.

As someone who is in my sixties, I assure you that we seniors are NOT respected enough. NOT by a long shot. That's especially true for those at places like a certain senior care facility in Florence, KY and for seniors still in the work force.

@@anonymousgaming. Yes, the pictures are recorded directly onto the tape. Strange concept nowadays. No way to take the individual photos off. You just watch them being taken during the video. The video is recorded onto the tape. No memory card recording on these models.

Hello, it's possible that the mini-dvd was not finalised correctly on the video camera. What this means in practice is that some mini-dvds will not play in a DVD player. I think I spoke about this in a previous video. I will have a look, if I find the video, I will edit this post and pop a link in, so be sure to check back here.

In a word, yes. However, due to it not having an internal battery, you would need to power it via an external source. I Would use a slim power bank. You would simply turn the camera on, plug the AV leads into the ports and pop your memory card in.

@@olivehooters4833 Hey, thanks for watching and commenting. Sure, the camera actually provides really nice images. For me, it was a little cumbersome, had a very noisy zoom and wasn’t particularly memorable to shoot with. However, that’s my opinion. You may love the camera. Most Importantly and as mentioned, it provides great images.

@@GooberBall05 Yep, you can. It’s a hybrid camera. I talk about it in the video. You just need to get a Sony Memory stick pro duo and select the memory card as your preferred option to record media onto. It’s easier to get the files off on a PC, but you can easily convert them on macs with free software.

@archivist15 Hey, yes, overtime I realised that S-Video was the better option. Whenever I get the opportunity to capture, I generally use S-Video wherever possible. Or sometimes I use a DV out when using a digital 8 unit

@@ReelFilm2016 You should be fine using both. It's a gigantic rabbit hole as to how to digitized analog tapes. One that I've spent months trying to understand. As long as you don't use those RCA to USB captures cards you should be fine.
