Oh my goodness, I purchased a mat of sedum about 5 years ago now & am so glad I did! As it grew, I was able to move it around my garden to create other areas of sedum. I haven’t seen these mat’s again though, or I’d buy more.

We use a product called Marathon if we start to see Aphids. In fact, we sprinkle it on when we plant flowers as a preventative. After 23 years, we retired the business. My plant was wrapping around but I didn't break it up because it was neat with no soil falling off and when I watered it the plant was able to. I also planted a root bound monstera and she is doing well.

I love sedum and have a lot in my gardens. It does do well against most weeds when established but one terrible weed that I have been fighting for years is bindweed and it does seem to find its way into the thick carpets of sedum I have which makes it very tough to get rid of. I would have loved to have seen a tour of the garden you planted that in along with the names of the other plants as well as zone hardy and drought tolerance

This stuff really works great for tree circles if it's part shade. Larger trees don't get much rain near the trunk. You have to water it often. You can add Irish or Scottish moss to the mix, or maybe some portulaca. 🌾🌿🍀🐀🐾

Help! I have a woodland stonecrop indoor plant and the roots around it are dying when the leaves on the top are thriving. I’ve tried everything to avoid this but I can’t figure it out. Could anyone help me figure out what’s happening and how to avoid my plant from dying?

I have my outdoor sedums planted in clay buster mulch/soil. The area needs to drain well. I'm guessing your roots are getting too wet. That will cause them to rot.

Clever idea! I will definitely keep an eye out for hanging petunia baskets, and I love that dusty Miller. I’m in zone 9 Houston tx and dusty Miller will last year around for me.
