Huge chills right now! 😂 I just turned this on but it was on mute for awhile because I needed my air buds. Just as I popped my airbuds in, I hear you mention the book Atomic Habits by James Cleary. I just started this book a few days ago and I keep hearing from people who have read it. Saturday it was my daughter’s swim teacher, and now (2 days later) - you! Interesting coincidence on that one! 😊 Thank you so much for the tips you offered in your video. I tend to try to do all the new things at once, and end up confused and frustrated wondering why my routine failed. It certainly makes sense to take it bit by bit. Hope you have an amazing year!

This is actually an incredible video explaining the basics of Singapore Maths. I just wanted to ask one more thing and that is, what is the difference between having a 'Home Instructor's Guide' and a 'Teacher's Guide'? How do they actually differ? Grateful if you could clarify a little, Thanks!

I feel like it is so rare when you search KZbin for a video on a topic of this magnitude to find a single video that has everything you were looking for. But this is it. Thank you both so much. In the last month and a half we’ve received diagnosis for two of our kids one for autism one for ADHD.we have been homeschooling and this is seriously a lifesaver! Thank you so much

Thank you for saying this about the I Can Read books and similar books. I've told their grandparents not to buy them and I could not understand how my kids were supposed to read them at those levels! It's nice to know that my feelings were correct.

Hi Sarah, I followed the link to get access to Reading Better Together Starter Kit for free. I even bought your promotion product Blueprint to Reading and created an account but I still can't find the Starter Kit. Could you please let me know where to find it or send me the link. You should have access to my email through my account. Thanks.

Theres only 3 types of ADHD and has only been 3 types. The 7 types shes talking about is ADHD plus another diagnosis like ODD etc. Dr. Barkley thinks that boys are being diagnosed with ADHD because their bored in public school.

I think the biggest eye opener was how I approach it with my daughter saying this is difficult because I too always found reading difficult. However in her case since she's just like me she takes that remark like a challenge, thanks for sharing these videos on KZbin!

Curious if you ever looked into the Human Body Big Book from Complete Classroom Press? We just finished that and I'm wondering if this will be too redundant. Thanks!

WOW what an informative video, how eye opening. I've learnt so much and you've given me so much hope. I'm new to home schooling and realised that my child has ADHD, which is making the journey really challenging. The more I understand it I now believe I have ADHD too and his dad has it too. At the same time it has been a gift for both of us, why not for our child. Thank you for sharing the knowledge and the tools. Thank you!!!!

Thank you so much for this video! I’ve been on the fence with several different curriculums for History, and this solidified my choice to go with Sonlight. After seeing your review, the price of the curriculum definitely matches the quality of materials you receive.

I loved this video. I m looking to know with are the best edition in Spanish. May be you have spanish contacts to ask? To suggest me? We are using Marshall Cavendish line. And now we are trying to find out about Mathink Line. The books are not colored. The author said that colors distract the kids. and said they have good experience with kids with Learning disabilities because of it. 2nd book of each grade is kink of ..more complicated than others we know.. So .. Im looking for opinions!

The only subjects, my kids do by themselves is LA, and Mathematics. Science and History are read alouds or copy work and they get to paint, draw, clay model, or anything they can do bu themselves. We leave history for dinner time read aloud. They love it! We do not do any other subjects! Geography is covered within History. And honestly thats all only kids need. I cannot imagine the work load that kids get when mom makes them do 8 subjects in Primary School.

Thank you for this comment! It never dawned on me to do history read aloud during dinner. I’ve always done it during our morning time. My husband loves history but I couldn’t figure out a way to incorporate him into our history lesson until I read your comment. Such a simple idea but so brilliant! Thank you!

Thanks for walking us through this! I Just combed through the overview of 3 options for my kid’s phonics curriculum choices and I really liked this one the best for my precocious son. I agree, the black and white drawings are less distracting - which was one of my main concerns. I also like the illustrator’s drawing style: that aspect hooked me instantly. He’s not dyslexic but a bit ADD. I trust I’m choosing the right option for him. Cheers! ❤
