Pro tip: do not look up the hill to see how far still to climb, just look down your front wheel and pedal. This will feel like half the effort.

Yes. Bern is in center and you can reach everywhere in switzerland within 1-2 hr train ride.

When I started i was like that. Now I'm cruising. Shaved 10 minutes off a 40 minute ride after fitting the bike by myself, and making sure I pedal correctly. Gave me more power and speed up hills
