Got the log ready, now customer needs to figure what they needs out of it. Your arch sure works great and saw runs nice when the gas is on 😉 happens to the most of us.

Did you ever contemplate putting a plow on the four wheeler? Just to help clean up around the logs or the trail in the woods.

@@southernadirondackoutdoors We have to put the stops in to back a log into the mill. Forgetting to put at least one back out seems to be an issue. I'm working on a remedy for that. 😉 That's not the only thing I forgot but a good eye 👁️

It sure would come in handy like my riding lawn mower tires seems to be flat when I need to go mow the lawn, breakout the manual air pump every year a couple times. Really like the built-in battery and USB port charging for phones or cameras for "KZbinrs". Thanks guys!

Hi guys. That's a really cool compressor. Very convenient size and it's amazing how quickly it fills full size tires. Way less expensive than the big name brands and it has more features. I like it! Thanks for showing it in action.

Did you get a blade sharpener ? I thought about getting a chain sharpener for a while to start a littles side hustle way back when but that never happened. Frozen Spruce logs seem to cut fine, just gotta go a little slower.

@@bucktalesoutdoors7566 yes we bought blade sharpeners way back when blades were hard to come by during COVID. We can get 8-10 sharpenings out of one blade. I have a chainsaw sharpener as well. I usually file them unless I hit a nail or rock and really bugger up a chain. That works to get the chain cutting angle back on track.

I see you power up and down is it also power feed down the track? you made some nice wide boards this time. Looks like you sharpening your own blades too I do the same..🪚🪓

@@dansSawfish5604 just power up and down, there is a track feed available but since I have to walk with the mill head anyway, might as well push it and save 2k. Also available is a computerized set works option. With that I could just sit in a chair and watch. That's not me either 😏. I'm too cheap 😁

@@andysmith8544 sometimes we bring a log out and plop it down with the intent of using it in a day or Two. Next thing you know winter is upon you and their stuck. 🙄 We have had them freeze to other logs as well.

I would expect more warping or distortion as the wood dries, if it is cut while frozen. Not so?

@@theresaprator7608 we have not found that to be the case. So far over the years we have made out pretty well with frozen logs. Just have to slow down your cut.

The outdoor life in the North Country is not for the weak of heart. Whether it’s snow or cold winter makes for some hard times for those who work or even play outdoors. We don’t have a lot of snow on the ground and we’ve been out doing some shed hunting but man these cold winds we’ve been having make staying out for too long tough. You guys are tougher than me.

Now I know I am not the only one who uses my nose to turn the camera on and off when I have gloves on. This may be the first time I have ever seen cooped up chickens not want to go outside when someone opens the door. I don't blame them.

I'm in Washington state we can get snow but we get more rain then anything⛈. I'm on a Island in Puget sound I do a lot of fishing🎣 and sawmilling I got a little LT-15 wood mizer, I herd you talking about fly fishing never have done that. Stay warm you two🌨.

@@dansSawfish5604 we have fly fished on and off for years. Really got into it about 7 years ago. Haven't picked up a spinning rod since. So peaceful and relaxing 😎 I would take rain over snow any day. Snow just has to be dealt with and if it's cold it doesn't go away 🤦

@@garycarrigan7972 just for the critical thinkers. Right straight from Google: "hemlock is a member of the pine family, Pinaceae: Scientific name: Tsuga canadensis Family: Pinaceae, or pine family" so yes, I believe it's ok to call them pine cones. 😁

i just started plowing the farm roads and bring my wife and daughter to work. next is to bring sean to work. I did plow around the mill. will be sawing later. sleet snow and we have about 10 inches. hate the freezing rains.
