Several early episodes were too focused on being "scandalous" or "shocking", this one in particular. It really does get better though and there are some well-crafted and heartfelt stories coming up that do not rely on such moments. I think I was seriously considering to drop the show at this point myself, but the next one gave me enough to keep me going. Your files keep referring to Gwen's actress as "Evie", but her name is actually Eve Myles. What's worse is that (so far, at least) they also give you dates for each actor's Torchwood involvement. If you allow those to sink in, you will know exactly in every moment of the show if you should or should not be worried for the character. That is way more spoilery than any episode title ever could be in my book.

That's one mystery ruined right from the start. I don't care about the quality when I am watching this video for your reaction rather than for the episode itself, but I do wonder if the episode footage looks better on your screen than it does in here - because it should. Unlike Doctor Who, which only upgraded from SD for its 2009 episodes, Torchwood was shot in HD from the start. Your edited copy has again cut out the episode titles and next time bits, but since the title wouldn't have told you anything and you didn't watch the closing credits anyway, neither edit was really necessary for your enjoyment here. I'm saying that if you have a chance to watch it in better quality elsewhere you might not need to rely on this edit. That said, there are two episode titles in this season that I would consider spoilery and recommend avoiding to read, those of 1x04 and 1x08. When it comes to their on screen presence, you could just cover the screen for a short moment after the intro and the first credit, "created by Russell T Davies". The trickier bit however might be to access the episodes on a streaming service without seeing these titles or potentially spoilery thumbnails.

Many people don't consider Legacies canon because the show writers of that show didn't respect lore or source material the prior people made. Actively contradicting things from the other shows along with making the world less believable by adding a ton of different creatures to the universe when it's suppose to be just vampires, witches and werewolves and deviations / hybrids of them. Its almost a completley different show. Its also much less mature and more teeny than the others with that cringy form of over the top exaggerated reactions / acting, accents, circumstance, etc, everything is exaggerated and unbelievable. As an adult and a lover of this universe I felt insulted watching it. Entertaining but shallow, the only moments which emotionally impacted me was nostalgia bait.
