From my understanding putting a bag over you're head can be demeaning because it's almost as if you're covering or hiding an important part of yourself and leaving only your body on display which many women may have an unconscious issue with for a plethora of reasons. Some more obvious than other's. It's almost like your subhuman. Just because something seems silly to one person doesn't mean it is. It's great if it doesn't bother some people, but just because it does doesn't mean you're sensitive or dramatic or whatever. It's just a state of being and you shouldn't be ashamed of it. Some people cannot comprehend that the world and everyone else isn't based on them and their belifs and that's ok too. (What isn't ok is people to use this to be mean for no reason, but also the opinions of people like that are inconsequential.) As long as you're kind and considerate do, be and feel whatever. You're feelings and opinions are valid. Period. I hope this make sense for those who didn't understand how this could be a bit...uncomfortable for someone people and were genuinely curious. As a lifetime competitive dancer, my mom would always use those face covers whenever me and my sister had a quick costume change when we were younger to prevent our makeup from getting on the costume. Now that we’re older, we haven’t had to use them since before COVID☺️
