the grid is really helpful. i had no idea what to do with the original einstein puzzle but i was able to solve this one with relative ease by just having the grid on the screen and imagining things being on it

I tried giving it a very simple cypher. Even told it exactly how to to decode it. The answer was "oblivion is the end" it kept saying "programming is the way" I tried correcting it SO MANY times and it just kept spitting out the same thing. Lmao.

A riddle like a poem is a way of communicating in a more deep and meaningful way than if you just explained normally. A picture can say a thousand words if you word it right. " Anywhere is within walking distance if you have the time. Remember the author he has hidden something in the story. At face value it looks like nonsense perfectly encoded to hide it's message to the ones that can see it. What is it? Well you would hand a loaded gun to a little child would you? Neither would eye.

I'm not convinced that the Constellation puzzle would involve rotating the box. They literally JUST had a puzzle involving that and pointing it at the magnetic north! That's way too telegraphed! As far as I can tell (I am NO astronomy expert), the map is not particularly accurate, so my guess is you're supposed to fix it my rotating the three wheels that surround the projector.

I think somewhere in the workflow of ChatGPT, the correct decryption gets re-phrased. This could be somewhere in the process where it dismantles and reconstructs the information it collects into human readable text. It may have gotten the correct solution "THIS IS A CHALLENGE" but instead of passing this string through directly, it instead runs it through the human-friendly re-phrasing workflow. It may have taken hints from your previous messages talking about ciphers and stuff, and thought it might want to make it more meaningful by changing the words as "THIS IS A SECRET MESSAGE".

Apologizing and correcting for a mistake is amazing. Up until this point, I would expect any computer program to always produce the same results. What would happen if two people tried the same chat input on different days?

I saw some sort of research a while ago about an attempt to teach ChatGPT a Caesar cipher from scratch, and the results were nearly the same. ChatGPT is more of a programmer than a manual solver; it could write a simple Python script for Ceaser bruteforce with a vague prompt, but finds manual decoding too hard :)

I might be wrong, but I think the key in the cogito puzzle is the word sum. If you add up the letter values c=3, o=15 .. g=7, o=15 (the key being the + before ergo), you get 114. So you need to look for the numbers 1,1, and 4 which you find in the english I thInk thereFORE. As the ergo (4) is in superscript it should be a power and you get 11^4 = 14641, the 5 digit code (possibly). I also like the fact that if travel details were going to come separately anyway, there was no need to complete any of the puzzles.
