Exciting times!

I noticed after the video that I had closed the bypass valve. That needs to be open so the antifreeze goes thru the hot water lines. The valves that remain closed were the 2 lines to the hot water tank. I did go back and run more antifreeze thru the hot water lines. Also, I did end up using 3 gallons of antifreeze total.

Are u guys going to az this winter?

I'm thinking we use about 2 gal. We have always left all the facets on when finished.

Hi Mike. I believe you needed to have the bypass valve open on the water heater. Hot water out closed. Cold water in closed. Bypass open. Then run the hot taps until pink is seen. At least that's how Pleasure Way shows to do it.
