Hey man, awesome content! Quick question-When you're just starting out from scratch, how do you afford and handle the advertising costs, like Google Ads? Can you give us an idea of how much you have to spend on Google ads per month and what's the net profit after overhead expenses and ads in the carpet cleaning business? Maybe you could make a video on that side of the business? A video on advertising, booking jobs, and what the average profit looks like after operating expenses would be super helpful! Your channel is great, by the way!

How much PSI are you using in standard carpet cleaning? Also- what portable upholstery/spotter would you recommend for a new cleaner on a budget to break into the upholstery game?
@Sergio.G.A6 күн бұрын
Hi Frank, for carpet and upholstery don’t need to go higher than 150-200psi tbh. Instead of spotter get a hot water extractor and you can use it for both (and have the potential for more business) There are some small enough to pack up in a regular sedan (just with smaller tanks and more trips to fill up) but will be ok with one of those for a while unless you get a big enough vehicle and budget for a 10gallon
@Frank-t2t7d6 күн бұрын
One of my buddies has an extractor that goes high enough to do tile cleaning. The problem is, the manufacture settings only allow for it to go as low as 400 psi for carpet. Would this be an issue to clean carpets at 400 psi?
@Sergio.G.A5 күн бұрын
@@Frank-t2t7d Understand, i have one of those too and it should have enough lift to leave carpets not too wet…but theres a big chance to leave things wet…for that you can always bring fans with you and make sure you turn them one once you are done and even maybe leave them behind for the night/day.

Thanks for all of the information, it is great! Some questions: 1) 200-300$ per hour - can you make it by working 2-3 hours a day without weekends? 2) How difficult it is to scale that business in your opinion, so that you transform to business owner where employees are doing the job and not you? Many thanks!

What commercial upholstery cleaner would you recommend a start up company purchase? I know you used the Sapphire Scientific tool, but it’s a bit outside of my budget at the moment and my portable does not dial down to under 400psi. Would you recommend a CleanFreak 3 gallon? It reaches 55psi, but has a touch of overspray from what I’ve seen. Thanks for your help.
