I have a 1986 Chris Craft WA215 (yes, WA215) with a 250 Yamaha outboard on an Armstrong bracket. Same hull, almost the same upper, except my aft deck is completely open to the transom - zero obstructions or tripping hazards when fighting fish or scuba diving. (I hate engine boxes) No galley sink either. Other than that, same boat. In fact, everyone is surprised it is a Chris Craft and not Grady. Yeah, mine is not cutting edge anymore, but it is not $250,000 (or whatever) either. One hell of a boat either way. I have to keep "NOT FOR SALE" signs on it or I get constant doorbell ringing. Mine is also the actual length. It does not include the pulpit, engine bracket, or anything to falsely increase the hull length to inflate the price like all the new boats do. The bang for the buck is with Chris Craft. It is one solid sunny beach. Mine also has a unique, never produced, factory prototype hardtop for a fully enclosed helm. My kicker is fully remote from the helm also. It is mounted on a Goetz hydraulic lift controlled by the trim switch on the throttle. If I was going to do anything to this boat, which would be the same for ANY walk-around, would be to have the port and starboard walkways dammed off aft and have 3" drains installed through the gunnels to keep any water from the forward half of the boat from draining onto the aft deck. I don't know why any of these boats still drain aft. With this boat, you're not normally going to get water over the bow, but rain, etc will still wash the back deck. Uncomfortable for overnight trips, especially if people are trying to sleep back there.

Great boats...I read the 215 with the 200 gets 4 mpg at best cruise. Thats damn good for that much power and a top speed of 50 or so.

Mike, I love your 2:29 video of this boat. Most importantly is that you are muscular with wide shoulders. As buyers, we need to see this. Most talk about height in a boat but those of us who are muscular need to see how we will fit in. I know this video is old, but thank you for taking the time to show this kind of boat. P.S. Love the Pursuits. The pedestal sinks are so stupid. Its not a Riva, just put a normal sink in the boat thats easy to use and clean.
