Just booked an early spring trip to Amish country in Ohio. Two days at the Carlisle Inn in Sugarcreek and one night at Carlisle Walnut Creek. We prefer Sugarcreek but they were having a special $109 a night plus a $20 gift card to Der Dutchman and with the way hotel prices are these days, that was a steal. We will also stop in Gatlinburg going there and back as it is our half-way point driving there. We just like to be there, go to the shops and the restaurants. It’s just a lovely place.

I love, love, love y’all’s videos!! I live in Akron, Ohio and I love going to Amish country ( Berlin, Sugar Creek, Walnut Creek). I used to go there like 2 or 3 times a month. I really enjoyed it when you went to Hershbergers farm. (Sorry about the spelling). I love that place. We ate a couple of the restaurants you went to. I love the buffets!! Did you ever go to the Amish country up in Mesopotamia?? There is a great little old fashion store/restaurant there also. If you did, please let me know.
