In my youth time, late 70s/early 80s our biggest German PBS station, ZDF, showed every sunday morning one of the classical silent movies. And there I watched The last laugh. Even this is around 50 years ago, I still have vivid memories of this film. I cried a lot at the end. Emil Jannings was simpley great and he got the very first actor oscar. Jannings had been never a member of the Nazi-Party and 1929 the Nazis had only 2% at the election in that year, they didn't ha a big role in Germany til the German Great Depression 1930-1933. But Jannings surported the Nazis after 1933 verbaly, like so many others...

It's cool to see young people outside of Europe reading an author like Schnitzler. Traumnovelle's a book that for me personally is more enjoyable to disect and discuss, than actually read. Same goes for his La Ronde. I think Lieutenant Gustl is the one I enjoyed the most. I Recommend it to ya. Would love to see that one adapted to film.

I died during the space launch coffin story 🤣. Also the click based Destiny RPG smart phone game is way better than Destiny in my opinion.

I saw this show on netflix and I thought I would give this show a watch. I just finished episode 5 and I am not sure I want to finish it. I searched some reviews to see if it was worth finishing and came across this video. Thanks to this video I may just try the video game. The ending of Episode 2 put me off and the ending of each episode after has pissed me off. To me the whole thing seemed like a mess.
