You should try to play Ninja Gaiden Sigma. This will show you what kind of game Elden Ring is trying to be. It's less a "game" and more a "challenge". Duh right? Sort of: but again some devs that champion difficulty get to this point where fun is not the goal. The goal is literally, actually, to be art and passion incarnate. Those two things vaguely transfer to suffering. Issue is, these games like Ninja Gaiden, Shinobi, hell even the early Devil May Crys; are designed to be bragging rights incarnate. but they are not ever RPGs, which is where the problems in ER stem from. It's aggrivating because the whole "play your way" thing is not in the design. Period. it is designed for us to "break". I think from has a right to make a game that is "actually" hard and requires the playerbase to convergently melt down their playstyle; but this is an issue for such a long fucker of a game lol. It's a guide game; it is not designed to be "fair", but "impactful". I wish you peace, and reccomend character action games as an alternative.

PvP used to be my fav part of every fromsoft game but when they released elden ring i feel like all the servers just got worse. When someone hits me i take damage instantly, but my damage has a 10-20 seconds delay. Im glad to know that im not the only person suffering from this

This is why whenever I got into ER’s PvP, I started blocking people who are carried by shit connection, especially if they’re using busted crap on top of that. Make no mistake there’s always gonna be shitlords but after a while the game becomes noticeably less aggravating. I can’t say the same for my DS3 days, I almost never blocked people even if they make me question why I played. Even when I’m winning against such players, it’s just aggravating.

Excellent job dude, this person is easily the craziest person I’ve ever met in the Souls series, this person is legit an attention starved manipulator who lets everyone she hates live rent free in her mind. Funnily enough she said I was a terrible person for bowglitching her for acting stupid but not long after that she could be found bowglitching every other person for no reason. This person has also had years of experience in this game and is still bad at the game which is honestly pathetic. She also loves to call everyone else cowards ironically😂

Just a quick summary incase the reason for why i stopped with elden was a bit unclear. The reason i stop with this game without to mutch detail (detail in the video for why ) is becease i basically have a love hate relationship with this game, that impacted me to negativity. To the point that i couldn't love the game overall, but it also impacted me outside of the game. (Which btw never happend before with the previous soulsborne games) And it was becease of this effect that it had on me that I had to stop playing it. I could have stopped with it earlier, because I did notice it happening to me. but I so badly wanted to love elden ring the same way i could love, and replay every other soulsborne game. And basically i had to dig/find out for myself why that was the case with elden ring. The video i linked in the description was a video critique of critique videos, of elden ring. that i watched before in the hopes it could help me find the answers for why i felt this way on the game. when I watched that video, it basically opened my eyes in why I should stop, despite my desire of wanting to love the game. and that is why I committed to stop after I finished what i promised to wrap up before i made this video. (Those 2 things are my black knife liliy elden ring videos. "Those are btw finished" And my desert sorceress run and stream on elden ring.) After my desert sorceress stream is over it is the true end of this game for me. But i wanted to explain it here in this video, before i may forget so that the reason was clear from the very beginning.

Time to work for From software to play their newest prototype. I will say, you've beaten and explored all of Elden Ring which means the developers did their job, they entertained and engage people deeply on a whole nother level, Elden Ring is no simple game like Mario Bros or Pong. Elden Ring is 👌Every critique and negative insight is meant to improve further inevitable videogame reincarnationsn of Elden Ring. I believe the best part about the soulsbornes is the punishing aspect, it's violent, ugly, and the enemy AI can be aggressive so beating the AI feels cathartic in comparison to other games.
