Ogasawara Ryu has a nice online zoom class. You can choose either Reiho or Kyudo, and it is really challenging. I recently completed the Reiho class, and I think it really added something to my martial education. If your training doesn't improve your mind and spirit, along with the body , then it's not an art, it's only a sport. Might as well do wrestling or boxing.
Noticed some of the comments. The family art of the Motobu's was inherited by the oldest son, Motobu, Choyu Soke. Not only did he have Motoburyu Karate, but also Motoburyu Udonde. Udonde Art has many weapons but joint locks/throws as well. Many confuse this with Motobu Choki's art of Motoburyu Kempo. Ckoki Soke created Motoburyu Kempo, the family art was passed down with Choyu Soke who handed it to Uehara Soke. What you are watching is the joint locking part of Udonde. For those who want harder attacks more aggressive, or pressure testing I suggest volunteering as uke. The reason this is slower is to protect our Uke. You can't see or learn from someone going 100% and damaging their partner. It does no one any good.

If Choki Motobu the first ever saw this in his prime he'd probably beat the piss out of this man and his own son. From practical karate born from brawling and actually fighting to this aikido drivel? Pain complaince doesnt doesnt work until you've successfully nullified all avenues of attack fron the opponent. This is going to get you stabbed

very choreographed, especially easy to tell in the multiple people fight. He'd be dead. He needs to run and reposition so he's not surrounded... 1 sword can't block multiple swords.

No shit Sherlock.Nobody is claiming this isn't choreographed.Only idiots thinks you can have improvised live blade randori and not lose a body part or worse....
