I spent all my resources on Charizard pack, but ended up missing one core card to make it work which is Moltress. I am frustrated now since there were a lot of cards that I should dive instead of pursuing Charizard. Its really hard to build him up.

I have played with a lot of Charizard, Arcanine, and Centi decks. I prefer Arcanine as you are able to attack for less energy and power up your other EX without losing the energy.

I don't intend to be a broken record but that one energy less is huge for consistency. Plus the fact that it doesn't lose energy as it attacks means you can power up the moltres ex or a second arcanine in the back to help finish up the game.

centiskorch is goated. I like a version with 1 ponyty, 2 rapidash and 2 blained added, which helps extremely with pivoting and not having only 1 gameplan. Easy wins against pikachu

I just started playing about a week ago so this week has been good for me, naturally as it was my first week and I could open a bunch of packs. I've opened 81 packs and gotten 2 god packs - nothing above 2 star from them though. Finished a pikachu ex deck, have 2 immersive mewtwo ex, 1 immersive pikachu ex, 4 alt art zapdos ex (which all came from the god packs). I also pulled 8 lapras ex in 25 event packs

the 10 damage is relevant, but in a tournament setting Arcanine is 100% the better deck. Centiscorch doesn't KO Mewtwo, so that matchup is basically the same, but the critical breakpoint for tournaments is that 120/130 for pikachu/zapdos since that's the BDIF and the one you'll see most. In random queue, definitely can see your point for centi, though.

Want to get really spicy? Throw in 2 Articuno's and 2 Misty's..centiscorch runs on 3 colorless, and Moltres attacks with 2 colorless, it works fairly well, definitely catch people off gaurd.🤯😏

Being able to attack 1 energy sooner is what makes Arcanine good in tournaments, since there are many pikachu matches. If you play casual games centiskorch could be better since you see all type of decks

On my very first ever Pikachu pack I pulled a gold Pikachu ex then a day later I pulled a emersive Pikachu ex card and then last night I pulled another emersive Pikachu ex card all in about 3 days

You’re the 3rd ptcgp creator I’ve seen hyping up this deck in the last day. It’s weird. Like the others were the exact same, acting like this is some kind of sleeper deck. I feel like centiscorch has been part of the conversation for fire decks since launch

The only change i did to this deck is taking out a Potion for a Heatmor (instead of the Farfetch'd you suggested). Heatmor has +20 HP than Farfetch'd, which makes it survive the 50 damage Mewtwo attack + Giovanni, and the 30 damage is enough to setup Mewtwo for Centiskorch to OHKO Mewtwo, even if it heals with a Potion it's OHKO with a Giovanni

Centiskorch is slightly better than Arcanine yes but it's slower and less bulky
