What part number for the thermo couple Thanks Mike
@theredneckgeordieАй бұрын
Hi Mike. The temperature sensor I purchased from Ransom Spares in the UK. Their part number was RS50195 and the cost was £45.05. The Bosch part number should be in the manual if that is what your looking for. Regards ... Ian

@ thanks Ian We have the same oven and I have no temp control it just runs high so I gestimate the thermo coupling has gone. Appreciate your reply Thanks again Mike

Hi Mike. Just a thought. The temperature is actually set by the potentiostat (knob to the right). It could be the potentiostat which is at fault. Although I changed the thermostat to see if my problem went away, it was actually not the thermostat which was the problem. It can be difficult isolating the problem. best of luck!

Thanks Ian Hmmm,I better consider that also Regards Mike

Yes I think you are correct p stat seems u/s I have not pulled the cooker out so the numbers must be behind the unit. Instruction manual has HBA23B1.OB Do you have the other serial numbers to hand from this model. No problem if you don’t Regards Mike

Hi thanks for the video. I have a problem with this oven. The light is now working anymore, i Changhed the bulb but nothing happens. How can I understand if the PCB is the problem? Thanks
@theredneckgeordie2 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. My question is "is everything else working" i.e., is the oven heating up as normal? If this is the case then the PCB may not be the problem. You can have a close look at the PCB to see if there is any damage to the components. If everything is looking OK then you may have to replace the whole lightbulb assembly rather than just the lightbulb. Sorry I can't be more specific! Regards and best of luck.

@@theredneckgeordie thanks. I changed the PCB. Now the light is working but the oven shows E300 error. Maybe the problem could be the power supply module?
@endymion8181Ай бұрын
@@theredneckgeordie also I checked the wiring from your video to mine and in my oven the gray cable that connects the selector to the PCB connects in the space to the right of yours, does it work the same?
@theredneckgeordieАй бұрын
@@endymion8181 I'm not sure about that! I'm not an electrician or electronics engineer so I can't really answer your question. Do you have the manual to see what E300 refers to?

@ i solved. I bought a wrong PCB. Now it’s working. Thanks

Thanks for your video! Where is the PCB located? In the back?
@theredneckgeordie2 ай бұрын
No. The PCB is located at the front and the top and is just behind the element selector. Thanks for your comments and hope my answer is suitable. Regards .. Ian

I knew it! I retired about 8 months ago. Threw away more than a couple hundred old parts machines. At least 5 of those 1200 series Pfaffs. "No one will ever want them".😢

Just discovered this, thanks for such an informative and fascinating video. This was my school from 1994 to 1997. Loved the fact particular attentuon was made to a classroom in the "upper juniors" (which had become the lower juniors - Years 3 and 4 by the 1990s) as that was my very first classroom at WJJS in 1994, Year 4 Mrs Cockburn. Really interesting and memory evoking!

Thank you for your pain. After watching, I realized it's also something wrong with the PCB on my Bosch. eBay had some offers. Complete photos from all angles was a life saver...great idea.

Oh,and Miss Hodge was the Head while I was there.A nice lady as I recall but terrifying too.Failed 11+ so went to Manor Park school and ended up teaching for many years in the West End.

I attended the school from age of 8 in Mrs.Bulmer's class initially.She was my dad's junior school teacher in the West End,though unsure in which school. Miss Flack was my favourite teacher.I was in love with her!! Happy times indeed. Michael O'Connor.

@theredneckgeordie - Hey hi I have the same oven although my issue is the lcd screen digits keep flashing, likely tripped my a electrical cut out - I’ve tried resetting by leaving off at mains for an hour and switching back on etc - oven works apart from the continuing flashing, any idea what is the issue?

Hi Martin. Sorry for the delay. I'm not much help with this problem. It may be a defective component on the PCB which may not be visible as it was with my problem. Sorry I can't help with this one! Hope you can find the cause and repair.

My old school, 1952 - 1958. Many happy memories but I was happy to move on to Heaton Technical School, after passing my 11 plus exam. I stayed in Grosvenor Place, Jesmond. My younger brother Philippe and younger sister Madeleine, as well as my older sister Vicky all attended this school.

I started infants in 99 and loved this school, demolished the year after I left! So sad as it was such a beautiful building. Thank you for making this video and allowing us to see inside the school again. Happy memories :)
