@@TrialsProgression always a good time here .. maybe you can plan a weekend and we can do a video on how to set up obstacles and finding proper training sections in natural areas as well .. we have a 9 mile loop with lots of natural play areas .

0:28 he seems to be purposely dumping the clutch! He's also using 1 finger in the first video and 2 in the second video! You can move the lever further in on the bars so you're pulling the lever more towards the end to get better control.

it has to be better than the clutch that came with mine, going to switch it out right away. Does it reduce the clutch drag, that's the biggest problem I have. Do you remember the manufacturer of the plates you used. I only have 4 clutch springs in mine, that makes a very light clutch pull. I would love to come and ride at your facility, but it's a long way from Vancouver island 🙂

Montesa is spelled with one S unless they changed the spelling? the old Montesa Cota's were two strokes and the new Montesa is a four stroke, and they are a collaboration with Honda now. the old ones used to dominate trials competition, and I'm guessing the new ones are no different. to have Honda and Montesa together. because Honda doesn't generally back losing propositions.
@colinmote8468 ай бұрын
Where did Montesa ever dominate ? Here in the U.K. the Montesa 4 stroke is regarded as an extremely well designed and built bike but not one that dominates the sport, that is done by Gasgas, Beta and Sherco all 2 stroke.

How long did it take please, in case I have to take it to a dealer I'll know what kind of bill to expect, it's wether I can find the right flywheel puller. Thanks
@grp4dirt Жыл бұрын
Took me about 8 hrs but I went into it blind with no instructions. I think a dealer could do it in 4 hrs as I should be able to next time around .. I sell the pullers for $85 if you need 1 . We are gonna offer an installed package here in NC

Did this 900 end up being a head gasket? I did. Leak down test to 100 psi and had 4% loss on both cylinders and no bubbles coming out the radiator and pressure tested the cooling system to 16psi with no pressure loss after over an hour and its still overheating

Yes , turned out that we were given a bad head gasket . Put in new one and tan fine ever since . But still used same process to get all the air out of the system . Bad design…

Three things to just experiment with. Squat about 1 to maybe 2 inches bending at the knees. Lift your chin an inch just to get you chest out just a bit from where you are and finally move your right foot out an inch on the peg. You favor turning the wheel left-this gives you a little better counterbalance. Just try these either one two or all three. It appears you haven’t quite found that “sweet spot” that allows you a little more control.
@grp4dirt Жыл бұрын
I feel like this one s my normal riding position.. will probably stick with It. May try with boots on , my ankles were struggling and in the end I was he foot pressure that made me quit .. he will b trying more.. I am sure I will be experimenting with options as I Start getting bored
@86ASHMORE Жыл бұрын
@@grp4dirt cool by me...just stuff to try. what I call spitballing'. I have since found another little tip for staying balanced.. try to keep the fork tube that is visually on top ( the right one if the wheel is left, or vice versa) pointed toward the center of your chest or thereabouts. Just another spitball.
