I'm feeling ancient right now 😂 I keep a bin of washed jars and use them to hold things. Didn't think it was DIY. Just part of being raised poor and in a time before we were told to recycle instead of reuse.

try using a reusable cloth instead of paper towel for goo gone! i find the fibers can get stuck to what hasnt come off yet, a microfiber cloth is game changing

Yes i have jars like this everywhere!! But regular oil is way better than GOO GONE! and you dont have to keep buying a weird chemical formula!

@kristenbrennan seriously! I have showed this trick to everyone I don't gate keep! It's best to take a butter knife and make small scratches in the surface of the label. But seriously you barely need any pressure to make the tiniest or biggest gash on the label! Then an old tooth brush and old oil! I make funnel cake for my mom every one in a while so I save a bit of the old oil for that! But I haven't made any recently, although I discovered a bottle of super stale vegetable oil in the back of the cabinet! Dont waste your good stuff on the jars, use what you have ofc! But ofc for example - a goodwill jar haul, its best to find the cheapest knock off dupe oil in the biggest bottle if you can / if you need! I really need to start my own yt channel. I swear I spend so long talking about these little tidbits in comments i could've possibly been making money by now. Obviously that's how so many people feel about YT rn, but still! Anyway! I hope this helps!
