How I would fix it as an engineer (works only on silicone gliding mechanism bands): take a small needle pin (pinhead). Make a small incision in the locking part of the band. Insert the pinhead through all the length of the part that is supposed to glide inside the watch. Take superglue and glue back the small incision to fully encapsulate the needle pin and have it fully covered inside the gliding part of the band. Make sure that the glue is fully cured and the band is glued properly. Rinse band with liquid soap. The needle should expand the gliding part of the band just so that it will fix itself inside the watch. The glued part will never be noticed and it will never pull itself apart. Buy good quality superglue, not cheap. I don’t need to try this because my band has a very slight error and it feels ok, but if you guys find this useful please leave a comment so I know that it works.

The replica bands are junk. Not worth it.

I would suggest not getting a knock off alpine loop. I’ve seen lots of reviews of them coming part and people having their watch fall off which obviously could cause damage. Spend the money and get an apple one they are made so much better. I just got mine 3 days ago and love it

I think the Ultra looks best with straps that have squarish titanium lugs like those we see on the trail and alpine loops from Apple. The rounded style - especially in stainless - just doesn’t quite fit the vibe.

Im wearing basically 4 in black. Way better than the poopy alpine cloth. Im not gonna trust magnets for my $800 watch lmao (apples versions). So flub those kinds.

I have it and been using it since 3 months now. I wear daily and I’m a gym equipment technician. It has scratches everywhere but is holding up pretty good I’ll say for the price.

I traded my Ultra 1 for Series 9, and I’m very satisfied with the change. The Ultra is best used for sports activities, while the 9 is more stylish for different occasions.

Fuk Apple if you buy genuine its $99 then if you need larger for wetsuit etc its another $49 = $150 !! why not just do the same as the Alpine, small or large??

Having seen both side by side, the Amazon band is good but nowhere near the quality of the genuine Apple band. It’s a bit like comparing a fake $50 Apple Watch Ultra with the real thing. Looks identical from a distance but that is where the similarities end. If you just want to swap out your watch bands all the time, then get a load of cheaper bands. If you want to wear the same band for a year or more, buy the real deal. If an Apple band genuinely fails, you will at least get repairs and replacement without any hassle.

I have the Ocean Band, a Titanium third party band, and the Trail Loop. The Trail Loop is certainly comfortable and worth the cost. Third party bands come close, but they are not Apple and they are not up to the same standards of fit, finish and comfort. If you must wear a fake band, why not go the whole hog and wear a $50 fake Apple Watch to complete the ensemble? The only exception to this would be the third party metal bands for the Apple Watch Ultra since Apple don’t offer an option. The Apple Watch metal bands that are available are on a completely different planet to anything else you will see with tool free link swapping and a fit and finish that is incredible. Mind you for £300 UK they need to be!

The quality of the Apple bands is undeniable, they are much better than the Amazon alternatives in wear and in use. If you can’t or won’t afford the genuine article, then you might as well buy a $50 fake Apple Watch too and save even more money. Since Apple do not make a metal band specifically for the Apple Watch Ultra, it is reasonable to purchase a third party metal band if that is the look that you want. But do not be deceived into thinking third party bands are just as good as the Apple bands, they quite simply all fall short in one way or another.
