I love it. Im obsessed with 744. But please bear in mind, this sim is no eye candy. Pure systems and minimal visual just enough for take off and landing.

That is a flight simulator bug when using HDG with autopilot. it will overshoot the selected hdg and comes back on its on thus the constant overshoot.

optiled Personally I find the ADF to be a quant navaid, good in it's day, but outdated. With the introduction of GPS approaches at virtually all aerodromes now (in Australia), navigating and instrument approaches are just that little bit less of a workload-happy flight simming

chris hood Those were the days ADF was primary navaids for approach. Anyway, I still think the requirement to understand ADF tracking goes a long way for every IFR pilots. Unfortunately with the introduction of GPS approach, RNP/ANP, new pilots from glass cockpit flying school era kinda lost themselves when it comes to crosschecking their position using needles or even tracking. Anyway, Australia has always been 1 step ahead compared to other countries, from GPS approach to CPDLC, and AUSOTS. ILS PRM into Sydney and LAHSO. Just love em.

hi there, Yes, you put the autobrake to RTO=Rejected Take Off. However this function only works if you abort the take off above 85kts. Below that speed you'll have to apply the brakes manually. The speedbrake should be stowed. During aborted take off, just verify the speedbrake extend automatically. This is only true for 777. if you fly airbus then yes, you have to arm the speedbrake before take off.
