Who fitted your xtrons tv? I am finding difficult for someone to.fit it, can you help me?

@@paulcuttill5121 I fit mine, myself. I did try and get quotes but they were into the hundreds! 4 to 5 hundred! So I did it myself. Took me a couple of days, but worked it out. I removed the old one first. Then using the original bracket turned it upside down and it connected to the kit with the Xytrons. I can’t remember exactly but it came together ok 👌🏻

@@paulcuttill5121 no I used the connection that was on the ETC from Japan, the traffic thing that spoke, disconnected that and used the switched live feed to the normal engine battery via this fused connection. I just cut and taped off the original wires it was too complicated to use them. I suppose it would have been easier as you say to wire to the leisure battery!

Feeling like you are moving is called getting sea legs, you do not realise there is some movement and you make unconcious compensations for the movement( unless its really choppy then you actually physically make the compensation) for it, its only when you are on solid ground do you feel like you are still moving. Try it after 6 weeks at sea.......😮😮😮😮

@@verityLeanne I would say if not sure use MSC to be safe. We just got a taxi at the port to Bruges when we went but it’s not the cheapest way to travel

These imports are nice but one big down fall is roof bars and tow bars are near impossible to get in the uk . Only reason I sold my import

@@verityLeanne The big pool outside in good weather is nice, but the indoor smaller pool seemed less busy and the bar was really easy to get both soft drinks and alcohol compared to many others. The indoor pool area was also very warm! Thanks for watching and hope you book and have fun!

Nice compared to my shedmobile E51. I ripped everything out of the back of mine. Seat, rails, trim. All very heavy BTW. Then I put down a floor. Big empty space for maximum versatility. Just chuck in everything I need for whatever I'm doing. Camping, hauling, cycling, canoeing.

Lovely work! How has it been since you made the vid? Any additions? If you can, would love you to talk the wiring and electric set up through. Two leisure batts, charge from car battery etc You must have run wires around a fair bit? What's the best routing?

Ok will do. I had a question about the sound deadening. Presume the car wasn't too bad before.. Did it make a big difference? You must have taken most panels off to do that? Was the car bonnet one anything special because of the heat?

@@richardcowtan6848 yes I took every single panel off 🤣 I suppose it made a slight difference but if I did it again would not bother with all of that. I did the bonnet only because I had some left over and thought why not! I’m not sure it does much to be honest. I guess all together it is slightly quieter as I did the entire floor which also reflects the heat back in. I also where possible put recycled bottle insulation behind the removed panels. The van is always warm and stays that way so must have made a bit of a difference all together.

Hi again. I’m virtually copying your rear conversion. Video’s are great, so thanks once again. Just want to know how strong the fix is for the rear table brackets. Do the screws drive into something solid? Don’t want it dropping on anyone’s head when open!!

I used small self tapping screws and tiger sealant / adhesive along the length and in the screws Has held well and doesn’t cause any issues is hidden and works really well Thanks for watching 🫶🏻

Your van always looks great and I love seeing how you have changed and added things to it. It has a really homely feel, and I’m interested in your curtains as they look great and full size on poles!! Can I ask how are these fixed on, and have you got same on every window? Thanks.

Thanks so much! The curtains are just black out black ones from the internet as you say on the pole. I literally used a hole saw drill bit and cut a hole each side in the side plastic and pushed the poles in! They can pull out but are nice and firm I will add a pic or quick vid Thank you for subscribing 🫶🏻

Hiya thanks for watching! My wife had a severe nut allergy needing an epi pen, in the buffet we were told - it’s all at your own risk and couldn’t guarantee. In the restaurant on the other hand they were absolutely amazing and were very careful with all discussed and explained with the supervisor 👍🏻

Hey Dude. I’m actually right now in the process of looking at options for changing my 3.5 HighwayStar’s centre box to beef up the sounds. I’ve got a Kakimoto rear section and looking at one of the straight-swap centre boxes from Elgrand forum guy. Just trying to decide which size box to go for as want sounds but not over the top 😅 and don’t want too much ‘drone’ on long drives. Can I ask what system / sections you have on yours please as it sounds great!

Hey bud, your set up sounds cool, the only mod on mine is the tray cat has been decored and the rest is standard. As it’s the Autec the rear box I think is slightly different but nothing else it’s almost stock! Quiet when going along and raspy when you floor it 🙌

@@ADoubleGymAndTonic Ah, thanks! Sounds lovely! Similar, mine rasps when I open it up. Rear cats also gutted. It’s difficult buying exhaust mods as you don’t know what they’re going to sound like until you buy and fit 😅 And everyone’s opinion on noise levels is so subjective.

I would never cruise in term time, i would be hiding away in the adults only bars, drowning my sorrows, which somewhat defeats the purpose of a cruise! But, on big flashy ships like this one, the ship IS the destination, the ports/stops are just bonuses!

I’m averaging about 18mpg around the town. I’m quite happy with that! It came with an aftermarket stereo that had the input cables wedged from the side of a panel. I’ve routed the cables into some input sockets to tidy it up. I’ve added a composite input socket for the TV so if needed we can hook a firestick though a hdmi converter. The next job is to install a leisure battery with dual charging. I’m Taking baby step!
